Welcome to the PQ Girls Softball Registration page.

The Spring season typically goes from February to May with registration opening in mid-late October or early November. 

The Fall season typically goes from September to November with registration opening in mid-late July or early August.

We welcome everyone who wants to play to join our league.  If the cost to play is a concern, please reach out to our league president ([email protected]) for more information about scholarships.    You may submit your request for scholarships here.

Cost should never be a barrier for anyone who is interested in playing to participate in our league.

We welcome girls to play in PQ Softball from across San Diego County and beyond.

2025 Fall Rec. Season

Welcome to the 2025 PQGSA Fall Rec. Season.

The Fall season will begin in late August and plays through the end of October.

An optional end of season tournament may extend the season into the first week of November depending on the team (8U+ only).

End of tournaments are not included in the fall registration fees.

Some teams may play an inter-league schedule against teams from other leagues in the area

  • There are three (3) events per week; One (1x) practice on Friday and a double header (2x games) on Sundays (except 6U which will have a single game on Sundays).
  • Coaches and Volunteers must register separately
  • Volunteers are needed - Please sign up online
  • Assessments will held on Saturday 8/16
  • 8U - Field 9 - 9AM - 10AM
  • 10U - Field 5 - 9:30AM - 10:30AM
  • 12U - Field 5 - 8:30AM - 9:30AM
  • Jersey Sizing will happen on Saturday 8/16 as well for ALL divisions (6U, 8U, 10U, and 12U)
  • 6U does not have any evals and can arrive for uniform sizing at any time but we recommend arriving between 9AM - 10AM for uniform sizing.
  • 8U - Uniform Sizing - Field 5 @ 10AM - 11AM
  • 10U Uniform Sizing - Field 5 - 9:00AM - 9:30AM & 10:30AM - 11:00AM
  • 12U Uniform Sizing - Field 5 - 9:30AM - 10:30AM
  • Equipment Exchange / Drop-Off
  • Field 5 8:30AM - 10:30AM
  • USA Softball has confirmed a Fall Select program this fall. If sufficient interest, competitive Fall Select team(s) may be formed.

**NOTE** There are some differences between our Spring and Fall Ball programs. The biggest difference for the Fall season is players will land on teams that are set based on their appropriate skill set level, meaning more experienced players together, and those novice or new to the game together on a team, with a focus on appropriate development, players will continue to grow in their abilities and stay safe on the field. During the Spring season, experienced and novice players are mixed together on the same teams. For the Fall season, each age division will form teams based on the number of players registered per division, the number of volunteer coaches, and the skill development stage of the players.  

Registration fees are as follows:
  • $25- 6U/T-Ball
  • $175- 8U-14U
  • $35 late fee applies for all registrations after 8/15/2025.
  • General Registration is open from 7/12/2025 - 8/15/2025.
  • Requests for registration after this date will be placed on a waitlist.

We will do everything possible to assist any player who wishes to play.
Cost should not be a barrier for any interested player.

Note: USA Softball has changed the age cut-off so that your daughter's age on 8/31 of each year is the age they will play in.

E.g. -
  • Players who are 7 on or before 8/31/2025 will play in 8U, but players who turn 7 on or after 9/1/2025, will play in 6U
  • Players who are 9 on or before 8/31/2025 will play in 10U, but players who turn 9 on or after 9/1/2025, will play in 8U
  • Players who are 11 on or before 8/31/2025 will play in 12U, but players who turn 11 on or after 9/1/2025, will play in 10U
  • Players who are 13 on or before 8/31/2025 will play in 14U, but players who turn 13 on or after 9/1/2025, will play in 12U

With the USA Softball Age change, any players who have played two years in their current age division and wish to play up, may email the board at [email protected] to submit their request.

Refund Policy: If cancellation is requested before Mandatory Skill Evaluations (MSEs) , a full refund (minus the SportsConnect $3 processing fee) will be issued.
There will be NO REFUNDS once MSEs have been held for players.
