Who are we?
Built for the Community
PQ Softball brings girls and families together in Rancho Peñasquitos to learn the game, build confidence, and make friends. Whether your daughter is picking up a glove for the first time or returning for another season, there’s room to grow. We celebrate effort, teamwork, and the families and volunteers who make each season possible.
That’s PQ Pride.
Everyone belongs
New to softball? You don’t need experience—or a friend already on the team—to join. Come ready to learn and meet your teammates.
Everyday wins
A first catch. A stronger throw. The confidence to step up to the plate. We celebrate progress, effort, and being a good teammate.
PQ together
Parents, coaches, and volunteers make each season possible. Together, we create a place where girls can play, build friendships, and belong.

OUR PROGRAMS
Our programs are the heart of the community—bringing young athletes together to learn, compete, and grow. From introductory to competitive, there’s a program for every age, skill level, and goal.
SPRING RECREATIONAL SOFTBALL
A fun, instructional program where new and returning players build fundamentals, confidence, and friendships in a supportive team environment.
SUMMER All-STARS
A competitive tournament program that brings together top-performing players to represent the league in advanced summer play.
FALL SOFTBALL
A higher level of structured competition focused on skill development, game strategy, and continued growth beyond the regular season.
WINTER SELECT SOFTBALL
Amore competitive version of Fall/Winter Rec Ball. The Select program was developed by USA Softball to allow high-performing girls time to practice and/or play games together. Teams are formed by tryouts and play during the winter off-season through the beginning of April. To play on a Select team, you must be registered and participate in the upcoming spring rec season.
