Some browsers (like older versions of Netscape) will not convert the white font on these WEB pages into a printable font color. They also will not print the background color. As such, the white font is printed on a white page which makes the text invisible.
Sometimes you can change the settings in these browsers to print the background color, which then makes the text visible. However, this solution uses a lot of printer ink because the red background gets printed. A couple work-a-round solutions to this problem are:
- Change your browser. A later version browser will most likely convert the font and print these pages correctly.
- Highlight the text you want to print. Copy the text to the clip board. Open your word processor and paste the text from the clip board onto a blank page. Then print the text from within your word processor. You most likely will lose the page formatting using this technique, but the text should print. However, since this work-a-round solution is both complicated and time consuming, it is not recommended.
