8. When does the play end after the ball is hit?
After a batter hits the ball into fair territory (i.e. the batter puts the ball into play), the play will end when one of the following conditions occur:

The ball goes out-of-play. |

The ball is back in the control of the pitcher and the pitcher is in the pitcher's circle. |

The umpire calls time out. |
In addition, for the T-Ball and Mini-Rookies divisions, the play shall end on any bad throw.
