The ASA (Amateur Softball Association) "Official Rules of Softball" shall be the official set of rules for the PQGSA (Peñasquitos Girls Softball Association) softball games. PQGSA modification to the ASA rules shall be listed in our league Supplemental Rules. Finally, the managers may agree to Ground Rules prior to each game.

The "Official Rules of Softball" Books are only distributed at the local level by the ASA Commissioner or their staff. Our league receives a supply of current Rule Books each year. Check with any PQGSA Board member or most team Managers to find out about the availability of these Rule Books.

Our league Supplemental Rules are handed out to the team Managers and Coaches at the initial Managers / Coaches meeting at the beginning of the season. Anyone wanting a copy of these rules may get a copy from their manager.
